Ernst Theisen was born 1952 in Essen, Germany.
After attending the university he worked as a research and development engineer at the Max-Planck-Institute, following 25 years as Quality chief-manager in the automotive industry. For 20 years he has been living with his wife and his little daughter in Bavaria near Munich. 1978 he entered the PSK and his “story of dogs” began. 15 years later he took his first steps in breeding under the kennel name “vom Mausegatt” - Standard Schnauzer and German Pinscher. Following this, he bred Giant Schnauzer and trained them as well. Currently he is still breeding, continuing with German Pinscher and miniature pinscher, under the kennel name of “DelFharo”.
He is an expert judge for all pinscher and schnauzer breeds, FCI standard Nr. 181-186. In the PSK he instructs the junior judges and conducts their examinations. On a number of occasions he was invited to judge in several European Countries as well as in the USA.
Amongst others he judged at Bundes-Sieger-Zuchtschau, Europa-Sieger-Zuchtschau and FCI World Dog Show.
